Giants Release LB Bobby Okereke, Save $9M

The New York Giants are releasing linebacker Bobby Okereke to create $9 million in salary cap space for the upcoming season. Okereke, who led the team with 78 tackles last year and served as a captain, is the first of several potential cuts as new coach John Harbaugh and defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson look to overhaul the defense.
