Clemson Tops South Carolina in Palmetto Series

After dropping the opening game 7-0 behind a dominant performance from Gamecock pitcher Josh Gunther, the Tigers bounced back with a 4-1 victory on Saturday. Senior lefthander Michael Sharman delivered a complete game performance, allowing just one run on four hits with four strikeouts.

The decisive third game saw the rivals battle in beautiful Sunday weather, with South Carolina scoring early runs in the second inning. However, the final outcome remained unclear as the feed cut off mid-game.
