Canucks' Pettersson benched late in loss to Kraken

Vancouver Canucks captain Elias Pettersson was demoted to the fourth line and sat out the final 10 minutes during a 5-1 loss to the Seattle Kraken.

Pettersson logged just 14:20 of ice time, zero shots, and was benched during a power play and late six-on-five situations.

Coach Adam Foote said, “He’s got to be better... We need more from him,” adding Pettersson must play with more pace and engagement.
