Lincoln Stuns No. 2 O'Dea in Basketball Upset

Lincoln High School pulled off a stunning 71-58 upset over No. 2 O'Dea in the Class 3A state tournament regional round, with sophomore duo Davion Shareef-Dulaney and Justus Holt combining for 45 points.

Lincoln, the No. 6 seed, answered Seattle's Metro League basketball pride with a dominant performance at Bellevue College on Saturday. The Abes jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, silencing the favored Irish who had only lost to No. 1 Rainier Beach in-state this season.

Shareef-Dulaney scored 22 points while Holt added a game-high 23 points for Lincoln, which advances to the 3A state tournament quarterfinals at the Tacoma Dome. Coach Ryan Rogers praised his team's execution, saying "they knew it was going to be a really tough matchup" and "they wanted this game." The win marked a significant statement for Tacoma basketball against Seattle's Metro League dominance.
