Okonkwo Cleared for Nigeria Super Eagles

FIFA has given the green light for Arthur Okonkwo to switch his sporting nationality. The 24-year-old goalkeeper is now officially eligible to represent Nigeria, confirmed by the Nigerian Football Federation.

Born in England to Nigerian parents, Okonkwo stands at 1.98 meters and currently serves as Wrexham United's first-choice goalkeeper in the Championship, featuring in 31 matches with 7 clean sheets this season. He previously represented England at youth levels under-15 through under-18 before choosing Nigeria.
