Shaheed Not Near Seahawks Extension, Likely Free Agent

Adam Schefter reports that Seahawks receiver Rashid Shaheed is not near a contract extension and will enter free agency Monday. The 22‑year‑old, who was acquired from the Saints in a trade that gave New Orleans fourth‑ and fifth‑round picks, was eligible for an extension to keep him from the open market but the two sides are not in talks.
