Garmisch Super-G Cancelled Due to Bad Weather

The planned men's Super-G in Garmisch-Partenkirchen was cancelled due to poor weather conditions.

The race was originally delayed by one hour due to heavy fog, but organizers ultimately decided to cancel the event. Alpine skier Adrian Smiseth Sejersted commented that visibility was extremely low, suggesting the course might have needed to be shortened.

In other Alpine skiing news, Marco Odermatt secured his 54th World Cup victory during the downhill race on Saturday, tying him with Hermann Maier for the third most wins on the men's side.
