NZ Wins Toss, Bats vs England

New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner won the toss and elected to bat first in the T20 World Cup Super 8 match against England on Friday.

A win would secure New Zealand's place in the semifinals from Group 2. England, already qualified after victories over Sri Lanka and Pakistan, made a change to their lineup, recalling Rehan Ahmed in place of Jamie Overton to bolster their spin attack.

The match is taking place at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. If England wins, Pakistan still has a slim chance to qualify via net run-rate, depending on their result against Sri Lanka on Saturday.
