Cardiff recorded their first win against Leinster since January 2022, climbing to third in the URC table with an 8-7 victory in rain-lashed conditions at the Arms Park. Aled Davies' counter-attack try proved decisive as Cardiff held on despite being reduced to 14 men after Jacob Beetham's yellow card.
The result leaves Cardiff level on points with second-placed Leinster and 15 points clear of teams vying for the top eight. Leinster's hopes were kept alive by Luke McGrath's converted try, but they couldn't overcome a Cardiff side that dominated territory and expertly killed the clock in the final minutes.
