Rockford to Host 2027 Women’s Baseball World Cup Finals

The World Baseball Softball Confederation announced that the 2027 Women’s Baseball World Cup Finals will take place in Rockford, Illinois, from July 19-25 at Rivets Stadium in Loves Park. The city also hosted the Group Stage in July 2026, marking the first time the event has been held in Illinois.

Japan has won the last seven titles, while the United States captured the first two in 2004 and 2006. Ticket packages and the full schedule will be released soon, and the city is upgrading Beyer Stadium with a new natural‑grass surface as part of a multi‑phase renovation.
