Cowboys Offer Aubrey $7.5M/yr, He Demands $10M/yr

Dallas Cowboys have offered Brandon Aubrey a multi‑year contract worth roughly $7.5 million per season, the highest for a kicker in the NFL. Aubrey, however, is seeking close to $10 million a year, a figure that would dramatically reset the market for placekickers.

Aubrey has been a one‑of‑a‑kind long‑range threat, making all 10 of his 50‑plus‑yard attempts in 2023 and 14 of 17 in 2024, including a 65‑yard kick that was the second‑longest in NFL history. He has earned All‑Pro honors in each of his three seasons and is a restricted free agent with the Cowboys holding a second‑round tender option.
