The Buffaloes have lost 77 years of NFL experience since March 2025, with Livingston being the latest coordinator to leave Deion Sanders' staff. Colorado now has new offensive coordinator Brennan Marion and defensive coordinator Chris Marve, along with several other new position coaches.
Under Livingston, Colorado's defense improved significantly in 2024, ranking 43rd in scoring defense and 15th in nationally in sacks. The Buffaloes quickly replaced him by promoting linebackers coach Marve, who has experience calling defenses from his time at Virginia Tech.
