Brayden Point Returns for Lightning vs. Maple Leafs

Brayden Point will return to the Tampa Bay Lightning lineup for their first game after the Olympic break, facing the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday.

Point missed 11 games with a lower‑body injury sustained on Jan. 12 against the Philadelphia Flyers, which also caused him to miss representing Canada at the Winter Olympics.

He has tallied 11 goals and 19 assists in 36 games this season, and the Lightning, sitting first in the Eastern Conference at 37-14-4, look to add his scoring touch against the Maple Leafs.
