Colts QB Richardson May Need Change of Scenery

ESPN analyst Aaron Schatz says Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson could benefit from a change of scenery after a rocky rookie season and a fractured orbital bone injury.

Richardson posted a 45.0 QBR in four starts as a rookie in 2023 and a 47.4 QBR in 11 starts in 2024, but the Colts have yet to find a system that fits him.

A fractured orbital bone sustained during pre‑game warmups in October sidelined him for the rest of the 2025 season, and with Daniel Jones set to return from injury, the Colts may consider moving Richardson to free agency.
