Trae Young Nears Wizards Debut, Anthony Davis Still Recovering

Trae Young is getting closer to his Washington Wizards debut after recovering from an MCL sprain and thigh bruise, while Anthony Davis remains in rehab following hand ligament surgery.

Trae Young, 27, will ramp up basketball activities after his last game on Dec. 27, as the Wizards prepare him for a debut. He has been practicing in one‑on‑one and two‑on‑two drills while recovering from an MCL sprain and a thigh bruise.

Anthony Davis, 32, has not played since Jan. 8 and is still rehabbing ligament damage in his hand. The 6‑ft‑10 forward will be reevaluated in two weeks as the Wizards follow his recovery process.
