Cubs Beat Guardians 8-6

Edward Cabrera impressed in his first outing for the Cubs, retiring all six Guardians batters he faced with three strikeouts. Dansby Swanson contributed with a homer and three RBIs, helping the Cubs to an 8-6 victory.

While the bullpen performed well overall, Porter Hodge struggled with a 31.50 ERA after allowing five runs in the seventh. Leonel Espinoza's bases-clearing double in the eighth helped the Cubs reclaim the lead.
