Mike Tyson is no longer the only "Iron" that Floyd Mayweather is scheduled to fight in 2026.
A third bout has been added to Mayweather's 2026 docket. In addition to scheduled bouts vs. Mike Tyson and Manny Pacquaio, Mayweather now has added a bout vs. a lesser-known crossover opponent.
Mayweather, 47, will take on Greek kickboxer Mike Zambidis in June in an exhibition bout at Telekom Center in Athens. Both fighters recently announced the news on social media. An exact date, weight or number of rounds has not yet been determined.
Greece's Zambidis, 45, is an 18-time world champion kickboxer with titles in World Version W5, SUPERKOMBAT, and K-1 tournaments. Nicknamed "Iron," Zambidis has not competed since June 2015.
Mayweather vs. Tyson is tentatively scheduled for April 25 as an exhibition bout in Democratic Republic of Congo. Mayweather vs. Pacquiao is a professional bout scheduled for Sept. 19 at Sphere in Las Vegas, which will stream on Netflix.
The Zambidis bout makes Mayweather's year even busier. He hasn't competed three times in the same year since 2022 when he took three exhibition bouts vs. Don Moore, Mikuru Asakura and Deji Olatunji.
