Logan Paul narrowly missed out on owning a landmark piece of WWE memorabilia after his $1.02 million bid for Hulk Hogan’s WrestleMania 1 boots fell short.
The WWE star disclosed that he remained awake until 2 a.m. competing in an auction for the blood-marked, autographed boots worn at Madison Square Garden in 1985.
Even after surpassing the million-dollar threshold, his offer was ultimately outmatched.
Seven-figure offer not enough to secure Hogan relic
The boots were worn by Hulk Hogan at the inaugural WrestleMania and include an inscription confirming their authenticity and the blood from the event.
Logan Paul detailed the late-night bidding battle on social media as he looked to secure the boots of the pro wrestling icon.
“Stayed up until 2 am in a bidding war trying to win Hulk Hogan’s worn & signed boots from Wrestlemania 1. The inscription read ‘These are my real boots with my real blood on them from MSG, Hulk Hogan.’ I tapped out at $1,021,000. Gg to the winner.”
Auction records indicate his final bid of $1,021,750 was exceeded, with the boots eventually selling for $1,037,000.
Historic item commands premium price
The footwear traces back to 1985, when Hulk Hogan headlined the first WrestleMania at Madison Square Garden.
Following Hogan’s passing in July 2025 at age 71, memorabilia connected to his legacy has drawn increased attention from collectors.
Although this attempt ended in defeat, Logan Paul has previously succeeded in high-profile transactions, including the sale of a Pikachu Illustrator card for nearly $16.5 million.
On this occasion, however, the iconic boots slipped away despite a seven-figure push.
