Brown now has 13,004 points in his career, and he's moving in on the top-10 list in Celtics history for points scored.
Dave Cowens sits at No. 10 with 13,192 points, a mark Jaylen will likely surpass this season if he stays healthy and continues his recent production.
Brown has elevated his game this season, stepping into the primary scoring role for the Celtics amid Jayson Tatum's absence due to a torn Achilles. Through 53 games played, JB is averaging a career-high 29.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game, shooting 48.1% from the field.
Brown has notched three triple-doubles this season, matching his prior career total, and exploded for 50 points against the Clippers on January 3. A brief knee bruise sidelined him for one game in late February, but he returned strong, helping Boston maintain a top Eastern Conference spot.
Since being drafted third overall in 2016, Brown has evolved from a promising wing to a championship cornerstone, earning Finals MVP honors in 2024 during Boston's title run. With five All-Star nods and career averages of 19.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists across 656 games, he continues to demonstrate versatility on both ends.
