Como Vs Inter Milan – Turkey Megastar Set To Make First Start Since January

Inter Milan star Hakan Calhanoglu is reportedly likely to return to the starting lineup for Tuesday’s Coppa Italia clash against Como.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 32-year-old could make his first competitive start since the beginning of the year.

Fresh off a 2-0 home win over Genoa in Serie A, the Nerazzurri will turn their attention toward the Coppa Italia this midweek.

Indeed, they’ll take on Como at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia in the first leg of their semi-final tie tomorrow.

Cristian Chivu is able to call upon the Turkish playmaker again, with the former AC Milan ace recovering from a nasty calf injury.

Furthermore, Hakan Calhanoglu found the net in Saturday’s victory at San Siro, slotting home a second-half penalty after coming off the bench.

However, Calhanoglu has not started a game since Inter’s 2-2 home draw against Napoli in early January.

Though Piotr Zielinski has fared outstandingly in his absence, the experienced midfielder is likely to get the nod tomorrow.
