Carlos Augusto continues to prove his worth as one of Inter Milan’s most reliable squad members, with the Brazilian putting in another composed and dependable display in the 2-0 victory over Genoa at San Siro.

Not a starter in the traditional sense, but a player capable of stepping in and performing to a high standard without any drop in quality.

The 1999-born defender was signed from Monza in the summer of 2023 to replace Robin Gosens, with sporting director Piero Ausilio and Giuseppe Marotta identifying him as the ideal versatile option on the left.
