A fresh report from AS suggests that Vinicius Jr.’s recent surge in form is having a direct impact on his future at Real Madrid.
The Brazilian forward, whose current contract runs until 2027, is now reportedly moving closer to a renewal agreement.
In fact, according to the outlet, discussions between both parties are progressing calmly, with a clear understanding on each side.
Most notably, only a few months ago, uncertainty surrounded his situation, as after a spell of inconsistent performances and criticism from sections of the fanbase, questions were raised about his role in the long-term project.
That story has now changed completely after Vinicius responded on the pitch.
A surge in form
He has scored in five consecutive matches and has taken his overall numbers this season to 13 goals and 11 assists.
Those figures not only reflect consistency but also explain his influence in decisive moments. Once again, he looks like the player capable of carrying Madrid through difficult phases.

Interestingly, his resurgence coincided with the managerial shift from Xabi Alonso to Alvaro Arbeloa.
Now under Arbeloa, Vinicius has received public backing and visible confidence. That support, combined with strong internal backing from the club’s leadership, has allowed him to play with freedom again.
Feeling valued again
Inside the dressing room, the Brazilian reportedly feels valued and central to the project.
That sense of importance contrasts sharply with the frustration he experienced during the previous phase of the season.
As a result, direct talks between Vinicius and the club are ongoing, and there is no indication of tension. On the contrary, the atmosphere is described as positive and constructive.
Once again, it is all a result of the trust and public backing of Arbeloa. If not for that, Real Madrid would still be worrying about the Brazilian’s future.
