Did T.J. Warren sign with the Knicks? What to know about new contract for the "Bubble God" originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.

He became known as the "Bubble God" during the NBA's relocation to Walt Disney World during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

Small forward T.J. Warren put on masterclass scoring displays in the bubble with the Indiana Pacers, averaging 26.2  points per game in five regular-season contests and five postseason matchups against the Miami Heat

Warren scored a career high 53 points on 69% shooting on August 1 against the Philadelphia 76ers, and followed it up with 34 points against the Washington Wizards two days later. Multiple left foot fractures kept him out of action during the 2021-22 season, and he's appeared in just 53 NBA games since.

Warren returns to G League with Knicks

During the 2024-25 G League season, Warren played 36 games with the Westchester Knicks and averaged 23.7 points per night, showing he still possesses the ability to put the ball in the basket.

According to the New York Post's Stefan Bondy, Warren has re-signed with the Knicks and will report to their G League affiliate in Westchester, New York.

Does this mean Warren will receive playing time alongside Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns? Maybe not. For now, he is an able body in case the Knicks decide to cut ties with a top team player before the playoffs kick off, or an injury occurs.
