Johnny Walker was not impressed by his brother’s grappling win over Zion Clark and has explained why he did not show up to the event.

Valter Walker, who competes at heavyweight, called out his older brother after submitting Clark, a former 135 lb fighter. He has now won his last four UFC bouts by heel hook, though that particular move was ineffective against Clark, who was born without legs.

‘The Clean Monster’ told Robin Black in his post-fight interview that Johnny missed the match because of pressure from his wife. But Johnny later clarified that it had nothing to do with family matters – he simply did not think the contest should have taken place.

Valter was not pleased with his brother’s decision to skip his match against Clark, even going as far as to suggest they settle things either in the octagon or through a Karate Combat grappling contest.

Responding on Instagram, Johnny did not hold back, saying: “I am ashamed! He is choking a defenceless guy, 4-times lighter than him, and without legs. Very disrespectful.”

He followed that up in Portuguese, which roughly translates to: “Get someone your size, you’re shameful for the legacy Walker @valterwalkerufc.

“That’s why I didn’t come to this fight, it wasn’t a fight, it was a – I can’t even give it a name, someone tell me what it was, please.”

In another message, Johnny wrote: “He doesn’t deserve use my name! He is not a Walker. I am very sad, I stand up for family, family is what I fight for, and he have no respect on my family my wife and my mom!

“He wants me to leave my pregnant wife at home after he said bad s— about her online? To come and support him to fight a disabled man? Ashamed, very ashamed! Take my name out of yours.”

Valter Walker calls for UFC fight against his own brother

Valter did not hold back in his post-fight interview with Robin Black, expressing frustration over Johnny’s absence: “I’m really upset because I called my brother to come here with me and he didn’t come… Look, Johnny isn’t here. I want to crush him! I have a kind of strange relationship with my brother now.

“I want to finish him off, I want to break his foot. I want to bring Johnny here and show him who the real Walker is… Everyone knows he has to ask his wife for permission. If his wife lets him, we’ll fight. I don’t care. It doesn’t matter where.

“Show me the money and I’ll kill everyone and destroy everything. This is just the beginning. I’ll beat him here and in the UFC too. I’m just getting started. Come to the heavyweights, kid [Valter is six years younger]. I’ll show you who the real heavyweight is.”
