Sepp Kuss Wins King Stage in Giro, Norwegian Impresses

Sepp Kuss secured a dominant solo victory on the toughest stage of the Giro d'Italia, while Norwegian rider Embret Svestad-Bårdseng impressed by staying with leader Jonas Vingegaard until the final climb.

Sepp Kuss won the 151km stage from Feltre to Alleghe, crossing the line in solitary majesty after attacking rivals in the final climb. Teammate Jonas Vingegaard retained the overall lead despite finishing fifth. tbzikra.org

Norwegian Embret Svestad-Bårdseng performed well, hanging with Vingegaard until the end but dropping off to assist Egan Bernal and Thymen Arensman. Giulio Ciccone, who led by a minute, was caught and finished third.
