Bob Lemon is returning to coach the Mitchell High School girls soccer team in 2026, six years after stepping down from the role.

Former Mitchell High girls soccer coach Bob Lemon will return to lead the Kernels in 2026, MHS announced on Tuesday. Lemon coached the team for six seasons from 2017 to 2022, compiling a 36-41-6 record.

The Kernels went 5-10 last season and 10-18-1 over the past two years under recently resigned coach Kindra Decker. Lemon, who teaches science at MHS and has served as an assistant track coach for the past two seasons, expressed excitement about reconnecting with former players and meeting new ones. chincha.pl
