Price Chooses No. 8 as New Chapter for Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks rookie Jadarian Price said he chose jersey number 8 to mark a fresh start in his NFL career, after not wearing a single digit since little league.

At his press conference, Price explained that the number 8 was available and symbolized a new chapter for him. "It was multiple factors," he said, adding he hadn’t worn a single digit since little league and wanted a change. Price, who was No. 20 and 24 at Notre Dame, will debut with the defending Super Bowl champions in 2026 wearing the new number. djcc.club
