Tulsa Faces Auburn in NIT Championship

Tulsa and Auburn will battle for the 2026 NIT championship title at 8 p.m. ET on April 5 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, with the game airing on ESPN2.

The NIT championship features two teams that could've been NCAA Tournament selections. Tulsa enters with a 30-win season, a program record, while Auburn boasts a perfect 10-0 record against non-Power Conference teams this season.

The teams previously met in the 2009 NIT tournament, where Auburn won 74-55. Tulsa has been a close-call team throughout the tournament, with three of their four wins coming within five points. Auburn is coming off an 88-66 victory over Illinois State in the semifinals.
