Royal Challengers Bengaluru reached their highest IPL 2026 total of 250/3 against Chennai Super Kings, powered by a stunning 97-run barrage in the last five overs. Tim David and Rajat Patidar led the charge with aggressive hitting.

Tim David struck 70 off 25 balls, while Rajat Patidar remained unbeaten on 48, steering RCB to 250/3. Phil Salt also contributed with 46, but the late assault shifted the momentum.

The partnership between Patidar and David added 99 runs in just 36 balls, including a record-equalling 97-run final phase. This total matches the joint second-highest runs scored in overs 16-20 in IPL history.
