Skotheim on track to return after foot surgery

Sander Skotheim (23) is on track to return to competition by the end of May after a foot surgery in January. The Norwegian shooter hopes to compete in Birmingham for the European Championships.

Sander Skotheim, 23, suffered a ligament injury in his left foot during a training camp in January, requiring surgery. He has already completed his first throwing session post‑op and is optimistic about a May comeback.

Skotheim’s goal is to qualify for the European Championships in Birmingham in August, where he aims for his first senior medal. The injury forced him to miss the Paris 2024 Olympics and the Tokyo 2025 World Championships.
