Dan Hurley's Father: The Hall of Fame Legend Behind UConn's Rise

UConn head coach Dan Hurley is leading the Huskies to the Final Four, but his success is deeply rooted in his family's basketball history. He is the son of legendary St. Anthony's coach Bobby Hurley Sr., a Naismith Hall of Famer who won over 1,000 games and 28 state championships during a four-decade career.

The two were rivals for nine seasons before Dan moved to the college ranks, where he has now guided UConn to the Final Four three times in four seasons.
