Torino Fires Baroni, Hires D'Aversa

Torino has fired Marco Baroni and appointed Roberto D'Aversa as the new coach after the team's fourth consecutive winless match.

Torino has parted ways with Marco Baroni following a 3-0 defeat at Genoa, which extended the team's winless streak to four matches. The club confirmed the immediate appointment of Roberto D'Aversa as the new coach, with the 50-year-old Italian signing a contract until June 30.

The Serie A club sits 15th in the table, just three points clear of the relegation zone. D'Aversa, born in Stuttgart, Germany, has previously coached Italian sides Empoli, Lecce, Sampdoria, Parma and Virtus Lanciano.
