Amir Khan, the McNeese State basketball manager who became a national sensation during the Cowboys’ NCAA run, has rejoined the program after a short spell at NC State. Khan said he wanted to finish his degree, live close to campus, and that many of his credits didn’t transfer, prompting his return.
McNeese sits at 23‑5 and is poised for another March run. Khan’s presence, along with his behind‑the‑scenes work, has helped shine a light on student‑manager roles and added a new soundtrack to the team’s success.
