Rondale Moore’s cause of death under investigation by coroner

Former NFL wide receiver Rondale Moore died at 25, and his cause of death remains under investigation following a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Floyd County Coroner Matthew Tomlin confirmed the investigation into Moore's death, which occurred on Feb. 21. New Albany Police Chief Todd Bailey stated Moore was found in a garage with a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The 25-year-old, a former Purdue standout and second-round NFL Draft pick, played for the Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings and NFLPA have both released statements offering condolences.
