Alexis Jensen earned the win on the mound for the Huskers, who recorded their fifth straight victory of the weekend. Bella Bacon broke the scoreless tie in the fourth inning with an RBI double, driving in Kacie Hoffmann.
Despite a scare in the bottom of the fourth when Gator Robinson doubled for Cal, the Husker defense held firm to preserve the shutout. The team went 5-0 at the Mary Nutter Classic.
