Knicks rally past Rockets as Pistons, Spurs roll

Jalen Brunson scored 18 of his 20 points in the second half to lead the New York Knicks to a 108-106 comeback victory over the Houston Rockets. Elsewhere, the Detroit Pistons and San Antonio Spurs extended their winning streaks with victories over the Bulls and Kings.

Brunson hit a clutch layup with 1:26 remaining to tie the game and a basket with 29 seconds left to secure the win, overcoming a 93-75 fourth-quarter deficit. Karl-Anthony Towns added 25 points and OG Anunoby contributed 20 for New York, who overcame 20 Houston turnovers to secure the victory.

The Detroit Pistons, sitting atop the Eastern Conference, routed the Chicago Bulls 126-110, led by 26 points and 13 rebounds from Jalen Duren in his return from suspension. Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs extended their winning streak to eight games with a 139-122 win over the Sacramento Kings, who suffered a franchise-record 16th straight loss. Victor Wembanyama posted a 28-point, 15-rebound performance for San Antonio.
