49ers Top Landing Spot for Seumalo

The San Francisco 49ers have been identified as the top landing spot for free agent guard Isaac Seumalo as they seek to address questions at left guard.

ESPN's Matt Bowen named the 49ers as the best fit for the 10-year veteran, who would displace defenders in both zone and gap run concepts while providing solid pass protection for quarterback Brock Purdy. Seumalo, who played collegiately at Oregon State, won a Super Bowl with the Eagles and made the Pro Bowl with the Steelers in 2024. Though turning 33 in 2026, he could provide immediate help while San Francisco develops a long-term solution at left guard.
