Sirianni Defends Hurts' Concussion Protocol

Eagles coach Nick Sirianni supported the medical team's decision to sideline Jalen Hurts for concussion evaluation despite the quarterback's visible frustration during Monday night's game against the Bears.

"Obviously frustrating," Sirianni told Lisa Salters of ESPN at halftime, "but the doctors have to do their job. The guys — they got to protect these guys." amunra-online.pl

The Eagles quarterback was removed from a promising drive that ended in an Andy Dalton interception. Unlike former Giants coach Brian Daboll, who faced league punishment for similar sideline confrontations, Sirianni stayed away from the medical tent during the evaluation.
