Giants Place Robertson-Harris on IR, Sign Two DBs

The New York Giants have placed defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris on injured reserve and waived wide receiver Beaux Collins with an injury designation.

The Giants initially kept Robertson-Harris on the physically unable to perform list after he tore his Achilles during the offseason program, but that move no longer allows for a potential late-season return. Robertson-Harris, who was signed in the offseason, will miss the entire 2024 season.

Collins will revert to injured reserve if he goes unclaimed by other teams. To fill the two open roster spots, the Giants signed defensive backs David Long and D.J. James. Long has played in 86 games across multiple teams including the Rams, Raiders, Panthers, Packers and Colts.
