The Eagles are promoting Montgomery VanGorder to assistant quarterbacks coach, joining recently promoted Parks Frazier in the coaching staff. VanGorder, who joined the team last season as a quality control coach, will work alongside Frazier and new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion.
VanGorder played at Notre Dame from 2014-17 before finishing his college career at Youngstown State. He began his coaching career at Georgia in 2019, serving as an offensive quality control coach until joining the Eagles. The coaching staff is tasked with helping quarterback Jalen Hurts find consistency after an inconsistent season.
