Woods Signs One-Day Deal to Retire as Ram

Veteran wide receiver Robert Woods has signed a one-day contract with the Rams, allowing him to retire as a member of the team after 13 NFL seasons.

Woods, who played for the Rams from 2017-2021, announced his retirement in a social media post, saying 'Football has never just been a game to me. It has been my passion, my purpose and my lifelong dream.'

The 12-year NFL veteran totaled 367 receptions for 4,626 yards and 23 touchdowns during his time with the Rams, including two 1,000-yard seasons and a Super Bowl LVI championship in 2021.
