Haaland became only the sixth player in FIFA World Cup history to score multiple goals in each of his first two appearances at the tournament.

Haaland has now scored 59 goals in 52 appearances for Norway and has found the net in each of his last 12 competitive matches for his country. Norway defeated Senegal 3-2 after Haaland fired a sensational brace, his second in the ongoing tournament.
Speaking to reporters after Norway secured qualification in the knockout stages of the ongoing global tournament, Haaland said he was not concerned about future opponents, even suggesting that France could go on to win the tournament.
“I don’t care, we are through. They (France) will probably beat us and go on and win the whole tournament," Haaland said when asked about facing the French side in their final Group match, as quoted by Reuters.
When asked whether this could be his World Cup, the Manchester City star acknowledged Norway’s historic qualification but remained cautious about expectations.
“Depends on what you mean with that. To qualify for the first time in 28 years and going through the group stage, yes, I would say so," he said.
However, he ruled out any talk of winning the title, urging realistic expectations.
“To win the World Cup, absolutely not. I think let’s be a little realistic here, and let’s be happy, every single Norwegian on the planet today," he added.
