Kan je pc Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy aan? PC-specificaties zijn onthuld
Met de lancering gepland op 27 augustus en minder dan twee weken verwijderd, heeft ontwikkelaar Asobo Studio de officiële pc-specificaties voor Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy gedeeld, en ze bevestigen dat de titel eigenlijk vrij toegankelijk zal zijn voor spelers op het platform.
Wat is gepresenteerd zijn de minimale en aanbevolen specificaties voor het spel, waarbij de eerste gericht is op 1080p/30FPS en de tweede op 1080p/60FPS, waarbij geen van beide dit doet met upscaling of framegeneratie, wat betekent dat de technologie, mocht je die gebruiken, een flinke prestatieverbetering zal geven.
De hardwareonderdelen die ongeacht de instellingen nodig zijn, zijn 16GB RAM, 75GB opslag, een SSD-opslagsysteem en Windows 10/11 64-bit, wat allemaal vrij standaard is voor moderne pc-gaming.

Look, stay with me on this. I think The Canon of Balls could be good. Yes, I know that we've done "Dark Souls in a ball" already this month, but I think this game stands apart. It reminds me a little of Straftat in being a very specific, even obstinate throwback project that's less about nostalgia - less about sheer recreation, and more the feeling that a deserted vein of weirdness has more to give, that there's another future down here somewhere.

The charging gadget earned a 4.5-out-of-5-star review when I took it for a ride late last year, as it not only looks pretty funky with its rainbow lighting effects, but at just $22 it was a handy yet affordable addition to my setup. Now, it's even cheaper at just $16.99 at Amazon, only a few cents off its lowest-ever price of $16.14. If you don't have additional Joy-Cons, I'd steer clear, but this $17 add-on is one of the best Nintendo Switch 2 accessories I've used to date and a dazzling tool to have in your gaming arsenal.

The JSAUX EnergyFlow Joy-Con Charging Dock is a controller holder and charger in one - perfect for anyone with an additional pair of Joy-Cons, it can charge up to four of Nintendo's controllers at a time. Essentially, you could have your handheld sitting in its dock and juicing up your original pair, while this is attached via the USB-C port charging up two more.
As with most modern gaming goodies, the EnergyFlow is alight with RGB lighting, which is super luminescent and just darn right pretty. If you find lighting on your gaming tech gaudy, you'll be glad to know that there's a button on top to turn it off. You will have to remember to do so each night, and otherwise it'll be keeping your living room illuminated, or in my case, glaring into my cat's eyes as he tried to sleep on the sofa. However, it's at least nice of JSAUX to provide the option for non-RGB fans.
If you want more JSAUX discounted goodies, it seems the celebrations aren't unique to Amazon, as you can find them on the JSAUX online store too. The EnergyFlow is available for the same $16.99 discounted price straight from the source, and I recommend having a little rummage through the rest of the brand's online store, as it's the only place to find accessories like the JSAUX 6-in-1 Switch 2 Dock, which I reviewed just last week and loved just as much.

Für den Abwehrspieler geht die Zeit am Tivoli damit nach zweieinhalb Jahren zu Ende. In dieser Zeit absolvierte der 29-Jährige insgesamt 61 Spiele. Weil es in der letzten Serie allerdings nur zu zehn Einsätzen gereicht hatte, war Heister bereits zu Beginn der Vorbereitung mitgeteilt worden, dass er künftig keine Rolle mehr spielen würde. Entsprechend kommt sein Abschied nicht überraschend. Wohin es den 29-Jährigen ziehen wird, ist noch offen. In diesem Sommer ist er bereits der 17. Spieler, der den Tivoli verlässt.
Matthew McConaughey lehnte die Rolle des The Last of Us ' Joel ab
Jetzt, da wir Joels Geschichte dank der zweiten Staffel von HBOs The Last of Us, die bequem in den Büchern enthalten ist, in ihrem vollen Umfang in Live-Action erzählt haben, würden viele wohl zustimmen, dass Pedro Pascal als Figur einen guten Job gemacht hat, auch wenn die zweite Episode viele eigene Dämonen hatte. Pascals Version von Troy Bakers originaler Darstellung der von Naughty Dog erschaffenen Figur ist ohne Zweifel eines der Highlights der Serie, aber das war nicht immer in den Sternen geschrieben.
Im Happy Sad Confused-Podcast über seinen neuesten Film The Rivals of Amziah King bemerkte Matthew McConaughey, dass ihm ursprünglich die Rolle des Joel in The Last of Us angeboten wurde, aber abgelehnt wurde, da es nicht der richtige Zeitpunkt für ihn war.
"Ich habe zu dem Zeitpunkt eigentlich nicht wirklich geschauspielert. Damals schrieb ich mehr und betrachtete Führungsrollen im Leben. Es war wirklich gut. Ich war aufgeregt. Korrigiert mich, wenn ich falsch liege, ich bin kein großer TV-Watcher, wir haben mit True Detective einen echten Coup geschafft, zu einer Zeit, als Serien nicht etwas waren, das Schauspieler wie ich oder Woody Harrelson machen würden. Der gelang auf eine wirklich königliche Weise. The Last of Us war wirklich gut... Damals war es nichts für mich."
Da Joel aus Texas stammt, macht es Sinn, vielleicht den ikonischsten texanischen Schauspieler auszuwählen. Auch wenn es sicherlich eine interessante Besetzungsentscheidung gewesen wäre, die eine andere Interpretation der Rolle geboten hätte, würden im Nachhinein viele wohl zustimmen, dass Pascal die Rolle effektiv umgesetzt hat.
