Rookie De'Zhaun Stribling is also out with hamstring tightness, while Christian Kirk remains sidelined with a calf injury. The team recently placed Ricky Pearsall on season-ending IR with a PCL injury requiring surgery, prompting them to bring Deebo Samuel back. With multiple receivers dealing with injuries, San Francisco may need to make further adjustments to their receiving corps.

Xavier Worthy has a sprained shoulder, is expected back at practice this week

The Chiefs dodged a pair of bullets when it came to wide receiver injuries on Sunday.

Rookie Cyrus Allen and veteran Xavier Worthy both left practice after getting hurt, but neither one is expected to be out long. Word on Sunday was that Allen suffered a shin bruise and head coach Andy Reid told reporters on Monday that Worthy has a shoulder sprain.

Worthy's sprain is minor enough that Reid said the wideout is expected to practice later this week. Reid also confirmed that Allen is looking at a similar timeline for his own return to action.

While the Chiefs would prefer to have no injury issues with any of their wideouts as Patrick Mahomes returns from a torn ACL, they'll take this double dose of good news as the next best thing.

Norwegian Makes Tour History with Stage Win

Norwegian cyclist Sigrid Haugset triumphed in one of the most demanding stages of the Tour de France, defeating Belgian favorite Lotte Kopecky in a grueling Jura mountain battle. The 27-year-old rookie showcased remarkable resilience in a stage that lasted over four hours and featured 2,500 meters of elevation gain, including a first-category climb from the opening kilometer.

Haugset's victory marked the longest individual escape in Tours of the decade and made history as she became the first Norwegian to both win a stage and wear the yellow jersey. Her win came despite overcoming significant physical challenges, including breaking her hip during Paris-Roubaix in 2025 yet still completing that race.
