Manchester City Are Among The Clubs Eager To Sign This Nottingham Forest Playmaker: Good Signing For Pep?

Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, journalist Pete O’Rourke revealed that Manchester City are among the clubs eager to sign Nottingham Forest playmaker Morgan Gibbs-White. O’Rourke said,

“Yeah, it’s gonna be an interesting one with regards to Morgan Gibbs-White’s long term future.

“There’s always going to be interest in a player like Gibbs-White. Although Forrest won’t want to lose him, I’m sure they’ll probably will be expecting interest in him.

“There’s obviously talk that Tottenham could rekindle their interest, Manchester City have been long-term admirers of the player as well.

“I think Morgan Gibbs-White, he’s going to have no shortage of interest if he wants to leave Nottingham Forest as well, but it’ll take a big money deal to get him out.

“Whether or not Forest are relegated, you’re probably looking around the £60-70m mark for any club interested in Gibbs-White, and there will be a number of Premier League clubs who will be interested in the former Wolves man.”

Gibbs-White’s Impressive Form In English Football

Gibbs-White has put in a series of impressive displays for the Midlands club in the Premier League this season. The English talent has registered seven goals and picked up four assists in 35 matches for Nottingham in this campaign so far across various competitions.

The 26-year-old’s current deal at the City Ground will expire in the summer of 2028. Therefore, it won’t be easy for Man City to sign him on the cheap later this year.

Will Gibbs-White Be A Good Signing For Manchester City Boss Pep Guardiola?

Gibbs-White can strike the ball with venom from long range and has got the vision to play some killer passes in and around the opponent’s penalty area. He is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can contribute by scoring and creating a few important goals for his side.

The English sensation is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also function as a box-to-box midfielder or as a right-winger if needed. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League and won’t take much time to adjust to life at the Mancunian club.

Gibbs-White will bring more quality and depth to Man City head coach Pep Guardiola’s attack. He has what it takes to compete for regular first-team football at the Etihad Stadium.

At 26, Gibbs-White has his best years ahead of him and would be a decent signing for Man City to pull off this summer.

Report: Former Pirates All-Star To Sign Minor League Deal With AL Team

Former Pittsburgh Pirates All-Star Adam Frazier is reportedly joining the Los Angeles Angels.

“Adam Frazier has a locker in the #Angels clubhouse. It’s a Minor League deal,” MLB.com Angels beat reporter Rhett Bollinger posted on X.

The Pirates selected the 34-year-old second baseman and outfielder in the sixth round of the 2013 MLB June Amateur Draft and he made his big-league debut with the club three years later.

Frazier spent the first five-plus seasons of his career in Pittsburgh and earned an NL All-Star nod in 2021.

He recorded four home runs, 32 RBIs and career bests in batting average (.324), on-base percentage (.388) and OPS (.836) across 98 games with the Pirates that year before being traded to the San Diego Padres in July.

Frazier was sent to San Diego with cash in exchange for a package that included outfielder Jack Suwinski, who Pittsburgh reportedly designated for assignment on Monday.

Frazier played the 2022 campaign with the Seattle Mariners, the 2023 season with the Baltimore Orioles and suited up for the Kansas City Royals in 2024.

The Mississippi State product re-signed with the Pirates in January 2025 and played 78 contests in Pittsburgh last season before being traded back to the Royals in July.

Frazier finished the 2025 campaign with seven home runs, 44 RBIs and a .267/.319/.365 triple slash over 459 plate appearances covering 134 games.

Exclusive says 34 G/A striker could return to Chelsea first team after loan failure

The Times have just dropped a rather interesting exclusive about Nicolas Jackson, just when we least expected it.

They say that Bayern Munich, who have the striker on loan, are “unlikely” to make the deal permanent. So far, so obvious.

But they also say that “all options” are on the table, including Jackson potentially returning and re-joining Chelsea’s first team picture under Liam Rosenior.

It never really seemed like Jackson’s problem with Maresca, who always trusted and used him. His move came about because the club saw a big chance to profit on selling him, and because the Senegal star was keen to go.

Jackson story smells of value protection ahead of fascinating summer

Nicolas Jackson to return to Chelsea this summer according to the Times.

This is pretty clearly a brief from the sporting directors, who see their chances of getting a big pay day for Jackson at Bayern fading, and now want to try and preserve his value by making it clear that he could return to the Chelsea team and play an important role.

If it’s clear that bridges have been burned, they can only expect low ball offers in the summer. They have to give the impression that the door is open for a return – and who knows, maybe with a new manager in place, it is.
