All about Karizma: Books and soccer requires a balancing act
Tell something about you that most people don't know.
I love true crime. Watching documentaries with my mom and learning about cases helped fuel my desire to want to be associated with criminal justice.
I have to ask where your name comes from.
My mom told me that my name came from her high school years and people always saying she had a lot of charisma. She always knew her first daughter would have that as her name because of the definition behind it. She knew her daughter would be confident, passionate, magnetic and beautiful. Here's a fun fact: When she first moved to Texas, she had her own event planning business and its name was Charismatic Moments.
Outside of sports, what's something you're really good at?
I'm really good at meeting and talking to new people. Getting to understand and know other people is such a fun thing for me.
If you could visit any country in the world, where would you go?
It would be Italy, specifically Rome because the architecture and art there is beautiful, I would love to see all the art in the churches. The food in Italy also looks incredible and I would love to try a fresh margherita pizza.
What do you plan to do after graduation?
I plan to play soccer in college, whether that be for the school or for their club. Wherever I go, I plan to major in psychology and minor in criminal justice in hopes of becoming a criminal profiler.

Beating LASA in the playoffs is a special memory
What has been your favorite soccer memory at Weiss?
It happened during last year's first round of the playoffs when we beat LASA 2-1. It was exciting because I had scored the tying goal and then scored the game winner in overtime. When the team crowded the field and we all celebrated together, I was overjoyed.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I'm not very superstitious, but some of my favorite things to do before a game is get ready with my teammates and listen to music.
For you, what's the hardest part of being a soccer player?
The hardest part is balancing the sport and my life. Soccer is not only physical, but extremely mentally demanding. Learning work/life balance has been something I’ve been working on.

Dream dinner: A night fit for a king and a princess
If you could have dinner with any four people in the history of the world, who would you choose?
I would choose Jesus Christ, William Shakespeare, Trinity Rodman and Princess Diana.
Shakespeare?
I would love to hear his thoughts behind the art that he wrote. He seems like a very interesting person to talk to.
You're in charge of the menu. What are you serving?
I would serve either sushi or Buffalo chicken tenders because those are my two favorite foods.
