The injury bug continues to bite the Orlando Magic.
Forward Franz Wagner is out indefinitely due to a left high-ankle sprain, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported on Wednesday.
Wagner has played sporadically since mid-December as he has dealt with the injury. Recent tests revealed that it required additional time and rehab due to soreness, per Charania.
He will be re-evaluated in three weeks, Charania added.
In just 28 games this season, Wagner is averaging 21.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists per contest while shooting a career-high 36.5 per cent from three-point range.
The Magic sit seventh in the Eastern Conference at 28-25. They return to action Thursday when they tip off a four-game road trip against the Sacramento Kings.
