National League club Brackley Town have named former Solihull Moors and Barrow boss Andy Whing as their new manager.
The 41-year-old replaces Gavin Cowan, who left St James Park on 29 January to take charge of League Two side Shrewsbury Town.
The Saints are currently 15th in the table, having won promotion last season, and are unbeaten in their past eight league games.
"This is a major appointment for the club. Andy has the experience and the attributes to establish the team in the National League and to take the team forward," said chairman Matt Wise.
Whing, who played for Coventry City and Brighton & Hove Albion, guided Solihull to the National League play-off final and FA Trophy final in 2024, but they lost both games on penalties, to Bromley and Gateshead.
He was appointed by Barrow in January 2025 but left in December with the club 18th in League Two after a run of six games without a win.
Whing's first game in charge of Brackley will be at home to Southend United on Saturday.
"I'm delighted to be here at this football club. I'm really passionate, I'm ambitious and I'm really looking forward to getting going and hopefully we can have a winning start on Saturday," he said.
The club have not diclosed details of Whing's contract.
