VERMILLION, S.D. (KELO) — The USD men are gearing up for the toughest road swing of the conference season as they visit Denver and Oral Roberts this week.
The Coyotes had the bye this past weekend, which was their first open date in Summit League play since the first weekend of January. This break allowed them to focus on improving themselves with just four games left in the regular season.
“When you’re supposed to play in so many close games or they’re expected to be close games, you have to be great with the special teams because I firmly believe that wins and loses games for you,” USD head coach Eric ,” Peterson said. “So I would say, three or four things, mostly about us, not so much about the other team.”
The Coyotes are fifth in the Summit League standings at 6-6.
