Why Eli Manning believes Giants need to prioritize landing Jaxson Dart another standout receiver | New York Post
“I definitely agree that they probably need a true No. 2 to go with Malik Nabers,” Manning told SportsBoom.
“Some of the best offenses are doing that. I don’t know if they need to do that in the draft, or it kind of depends on free agency. I wouldn’t mind if there’s a good free agent receiver that could be that No. 2 — kind of that 1B almost.”
Inside Giants coach John Harbaugh’s frantic first 30 days in office| The Athletic
“This feels right. It feels like an amazing new chapter,” Harbaugh said. “I need things to be organized, to look right, to be in their proper place … and I’m starting to see it all coming together.
“You start putting systems of offense, defense and special teams together, having those conversations with coaches about how we’re going to build our terminology out. Building systems, to me, is so important, and now it’s starting to take shape. That’s what I’m excited about.”
Why people around NFL believe Matt Nagy could be perfect fit for Jaxson Dart’s Giants development | New York Post
“I think Matt will be great for Jaxson [because] he has a good feel for people, really good feel for quarterbacks, good understanding of how to put the whole thing together,” [Jason] Garrett, an NFL analyst for NBC Sports, told The Post.
“He’ll have balanced attacks and plays that complement each other. There will be stuff that’s sound, old-school football, there will be cutting-edge things, there will be game-plan nuances. All the stuff that we’ve seen in Kansas City that he’s been such a big part of, I think you’ll start seeing some of that in New York.”
So, why isn’t Eli in the Hall of Fame yet?
